Fresh on the heels of the announcement that Minnesota will host the 2021 NHL Winter Classic, we have a real “wild” one from Brent Hall. His City Edition series has been offering up NHL concepts inspired by the city each team calls home.

For the Wild, Brent borrowed colors and elements from the city flag of St. Paul. And if you’re not a fan, you might not be alone. Even Brent isn’t sure. He writes:

Another freak out jersey. Loved this at first, but I really don’t know how I feel about it now. I committed to using the St. Paul flag as inspiration for the jersey and I am sure many Wild fans will ask for my head.
