This Freak Out Friday brings a brand new artist to the Concepts Showcase. Josh Sladden makes his debut with an admittedly “outside-the-box” look for the Vancouver Canucks. He writes:

I’ve been trying my hand at some Vancouver Canucks concept jerseys and I thought I would try something a little outside of the box for my first submission to Icethetics. This is one that I wanted to feel like a rainy night in Vancouver. The greens throughout are reminiscent of the Lions Gate Bridge along with all the forests around the city; there’s the rain coming down as is what happens most of the year there; and some added pop of neon for the night scene of the modern downtown city. I don’t see any hockey teams trying what many European soccer teams do with regard to patterns on the fabrics so I thought I’d try it on this jersey.
