Nick Stella is back to wow us with a concept for the new NHL team in Utah. He’s going with Scorpions as the nickname—the runner up after Coyotes for the Phoenix team back in 1996. Not only are the colors unique but the logos are simply outstanding. No surprise here as Nick has always done phenomenal work.

And by the way, if you’ve been around Icethetics for a long time—and I mean really long—you might remember the IceHL, our crowd-sourced fantasy hockey league, which included a Utah-based team known as the Salt Lake City Scorpions. Wonder if it could happen for real.
