Dylan Tusinski tackles a new look for the San Jose Sharks today. He writes:
If you ask me, the Sharks are the NHL team in most dire need of a brand refresh, and combining their inaugural and modern identities is the perfect way to go. The logo is a cleaned up version of their inaugural logo, with a number of outlines and strokes removed, as well as the addition of the modern-era crunched stick rather than their overly-detailed original design. The jerseys are also a mix of old and new, as I didn't wanna return directly to their old striping pattern, but didn't wanna stray from it either. I tried to mesh their original striping and their modern striping, and I think it turned out pretty well!
