The Bruins and Pens both return to their original color schemes with striping taking inspiration from designs of the past. Boston’s logo is a bear inspired by 1940s cartoons decked out in retro gear. The yellow yoke returns, and the number font pays homage to the Boston Red Sox, who play at Fenway Park. As for the Penguins, I took the Keystone from their Stadium Series jersey and put the Pittsburgh Pirates’ P inside.
