John Elbertson always brings a great eye to any concept, and this one is no different. He’s giving us a new Senators set with a fourth jersey that is an absolute stunner. He’s digging way back into Ottawa hockey history with a reference to the unstoppable juggernaut from the turn of the 20th century—the Silver Seven.
To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone do something quite like this. The “7” emblazoned across the chest plays a lot better than the “O” which often gets mocked for looking like a zero. Beautiful work here, if you ask me.
