Matt Burke writes in proposing a weekly series where he redesigns what was, in his opinion, “the worst jersey match-up of the week prior.”

He started with an opening week game between the Blue Jackets and Penguins, in which Pittsburgh wore their third jersey. I told Matt I can’t promise him space every week, but I do like the idea of reinvigorating a stale matchup.
