It’s been three weeks since the 2020 NHL Winter Classic in Dallas—the southernmost Winter Classic to date. But the special jerseys for the game never quite sat well with our resident analog artist Morgan Edwards. He writes:

Here's something I've not attempted before. I was disappointed that the Dallas Stars didn't look to their own history for inspiration for their WC jersey, and sought to rectify that with this concept. The jersey combines their first look in Dallas with the Minnesota North Stars jersey used from 1978 to 1981. With Nashville I just wanted a traditional template that puts their new logo where it should be: right on the front.  Hope you dig it!
