This is one of my favorite Freak Out Fridays of all time. Sebastian Guglietti writes in with a cool new alternate concept for the Chicago Blackhawks. On first glance, it’s a bit tough to understand. But hear his explanation, and it comes into focus, as it were.

Sebastian says the design plays off the team’s original black and white uniforms and was inspired by the Cloud Gate sculpture by Anish Kapoor.

I’d be curious to see what it would look like to have a player wearing this jersey standing next to a referee or linesman. So many zebra stripes!
