The Tampa Bay Lightning are headed to Round 2 of the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs and I just happen to have this new concepts from Nate Thomas. He writes:
Black returns as a base on the home jersey, and the addition of electric blue attempts to make the jersey pop a bit more, while not looking like the Maple Leafs. The blue alternate draws from the modern home for inspiration. The primary logo is a modification of the secondary logo of the team dating back to 2007-2011, while the secondary/alternate logo takes the bolt from that logo and adds the Tampa Bay wordmark.
While I’m not necessarily loving the logo choices, I am a huge fan of the idea of pushing the Lightning to an electric blue—it’s just so obvious, right? Heck, I like the color so much I’ve made it the primary color of Icethetics. Maybe my team can follow me someday soon.
