Whoa... hi. We’re back.
The Concepts Showcase flickers back to life for the first time in months with a special entry from Sylvain Rogé, who’s had some thoughts about the NHL’s newest franchise in Salt Lake City, Utah. He writes:
I had some fun coming up with ideas for the team’s logo and jersey. I chose “Blizzard” as a starting point. I thought Ryan and Ashley Smith’s desire to establish a connection between the new hockey team and their existing NBA team, the Utah Jazz, made some sense. And the double ‘Z’ in the name creates a good parallel with the Jazz branding.
Tap the Extra Images tab for a look at some alternate color options—that more closely align with the current look of the Jazz—as well as a peek at the design process. See how the Blizzard snowflake came together.
As a quick aside, I apologize for the long hiatus and hope to keep daily concept posts coming once again! Thank you to everyone who has been continuing to contribute over these past several months.
