Dallas Kirkpatrick is ready to bring a new look to Boston today. He writes:
This is a total redesign of the Boston Bruins. Most interestingly, this crest logo doesn’t actually exist. I redesigned the Spoked B, using the modern serif B as the centrepiece, but on the Orr-era spoked logo. I also thickened up the lines and spokes a bit—very happy with how this looks! As for the jerseys, they’re based most heavily on the Bruins 1958–1967 white jerseys, but with a few elements pulled from other past jerseys. It’s hard designing concepts for Original 6 teams that look good, but I think this would be a great evolution for the Bruins with lots of the past in there—kind of like what the Leafs did [in 2016].
