Confirmed The Battle of Alberta will be taken outside on October 29 as the Oilers face off against the Flames at Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium. It’s the first time the Heritage Classic has been held in consecutive calendar years, and will be each team’s third outdoor appearance. This game will mark the 20th anniversary of the event, which debuted at the same stadium in 2003.
